Please ensure we know you are coming before you leave!

We are not always home and are not always fully stocked if you are planning to drop by without checking ahead. Please also bring something to transport the hens - either a poultry crate, a high sided cardboard box or a pet carrier work well.

From Crediton A377 take the turn signed for Yeoford, at the traffic lights, adjacent to QE upper school.

1. -In Yeoford, just after passing over the railway bridge, turn right signed to Hittisleigh.
   

2. -Stay on this road until you come to Soil Association Land Trust, Summerhill Farm on your left, take the next right turn signed to Spreyton. This will take you into a wooded area.
   

3. -Stay on this road, you will go through a ford.
   

4. -Eastwood farm entrance lane will be found on the left hand side after approx. 1.75 miles immediately after Woodgreen farm.

From Bow on the A3072 take the turn in the middle of the village, that is signed for Spreyton, Bow Church, & Whiddon Down.

1. -After approx. 1 mile, just after passing under the railway bridge, (12’9”) turn left signed to Hittisleigh.
   

2. -Carry on this road for approx. 1 mile until you reach Hillerton cross, turn right signed to Hittisleigh (road goes left, you go straight over).
   

3. -Approx. 1.5 miles along this road you will come to ( 2nd left to Yeoford) Swallowtree cross (not actually a crossroad) turn left signed to Yeoford.
   

4. -Eastwood farm will be found after 0.5 mile, it is the second farm on the right hand side, virtually opposite Little Swallows bungalow.

From Okehampton turn off at the A30 junction to Whiddon Down and Chagford (from Exeter take the same junction but cross back over the A30)

1. -Take the old A30 (Two Moors Way) turning signed Crockernwell & Hittisleigh for 200 yrds, taking the first left again signed Hittisleigh.
   

2. -Follow this road to the second crossroad named Easton Cross turning left signed to Spreyton.
   

3. -Follow this road for approx. 1 mile taking the first right at Swallow Tree Cross (it is actually a T junction) signed Yeoford.
   

4. -The entrance lane to Eastwood Farm is found after a short distance, (approx. 1/2 a mile) second farm on the right, virtually opposite Little Swallows bungalow.
